Magical Mistakes — “Supermoon Crashed (ft. Mutual Benefit)”
Layers tentatively placed among miscellaneous sounds; scrapped together enough as a guide through everflowing sonic compression — this is Magical Mistakes. The six tracks here, available on the Special Friends EP, make up a unique static-filled experience, tied by the tension of low-key instruments. Erik’s project even has Jordan Lee of Mutual Benefit featured on this EP, as well as a remix of Lady Lazarus’ “Via Elysian Fields.” One specific cool thing to note of this project, is that it’s currently based in a small village in south west Japan; most likely adding some of its presence on this EP.
